DESCRIPTION
The Senior IT Business Analyst – Analytics Leader partners with business and IT stakeholders to define, analyze, document, and deliver enterprise analytics and AI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This role owns the enterprise analytics vision and roadmap, translates complex business problems into high-impact analytics use cases, and ensures successful delivery, adoption, and value realization across Sales, Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance. The position acts as a strategic bridge between business functions, data engineering, IT, and advanced analytics teams.
Key Responsibilities Enterprise Analytics Leadership
Own and drive the enterprise analytics vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy and priorities.
Translate business challenges into analytics, predictive, and AI-driven use cases and lead them from ideation through implementation and value realization.
Establish analytics governance, KPI definitions, data quality standards, and adoption metrics.
Business Analysis & Solution Delivery
Lead efforts to define and document business success criteria for medium to large initiatives.
Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements across business processes, information, events, organizational, and location aspects.
Conduct requirements management activities, ensuring impacts of changes are assessed, approved, and communicated.
Lead or support solution assessment, validation, and functional fit analysis to ensure solutions meet business, technical, security, and governance requirements.
Review and participate in test planning and execution to mitigate risk and ensure solutions meet defined requirements.
Analytics, BI & Advanced Insights
Lead dashboarding, reporting, and advanced analytics initiatives across platforms such as CRM, DMS, ERP, and Telematics systems.
Deliver executive and operational dashboards with strong storytelling, drill-down, trend, cohort, and variance analysis.
Enable predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases including forecasting, anomaly detection, and recommendation engines.
Stakeholder, Program & Change Management
Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for moderate to complex analytics and solution issues.
Partner closely with CXOs, business leaders, IT, data teams, and external vendors.
Drive analytics adoption through enablement programs, training sessions, and change management initiatives.
Plan and manage analytics roadmaps, dependencies, risks, and vendor engagements.
Team & Capability Development
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing analytics teams including BI developers, analysts, and data scientists.
Establish and operate an Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) and use case intake and prioritization framework.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Skills and Experience
Experience
8–10+ years of experience in analytics, BI, data, or related domains.
3–5 years of experience in a leadership or senior business analysis role.
Experience working with global or multi-country analytics initiatives is preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce Analytics (CRMA), or Looker .
Advanced SQL skills and solid understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
Working knowledge of Python or R and machine learning concepts including classification, regression, and clustering.
Experience deploying analytics and AI solutions in production environments beyond proof-of-concepts.
Exposure to CRM analytics, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), and Telematics/IoT data is preferred.
Business & Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of manufacturing and automotive ecosystems, including dealer management systems, sales and service operations, spare parts and inventory optimization, warranty, claims, and uptime analytics.
Proven ability to quantify business value, define ROI, and establish success metrics for analytics initiatives.
Leadership & Competencies
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate future possibilities into actionable analytics strategies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, solution assessment, validation, and SDLC practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or MBA with a focus on Technology or Analytics.
Intermediate to advanced level of relevant professional experience in analytics, business analysis, or data-driven roles.
