DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented HR Administrator to join our team specializing in HR for People Support department in Rumst, Belgium
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ensure flawless HR processes by executing core activities such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and benefits accurately and on time; directly influencing employee satisfaction and compliance.
Enhance the quality of personnel data by maintaining careful administration in HR systems and providing reliable reports that support strategic decision-making.
Strengthen the employee experience by acting as a trusted partner in conflict resolution, coaching, and advice on employment matters, contributing to a positive work environment.
Optimize the recruitment process through efficient coordination of applications, interviews, and onboarding of new employees; essential for attracting and retaining talent.
Support strategic HR initiatives by collaborating on compensation policies, training needs, and internal projects that contribute to organization-wide objectives.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations by advising colleagues on HR policies and local legislation, a key contribution to risk management and ethical business practices.
Drive continuous improvement by proposing innovative solutions to HR challenges, increasing efficiency and engagement within the organization.
Be a point of contact for colleagues by sharing your knowledge and experience, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, and social legislation, enabling you to effectively translate Cummins’ compensation policies into practical and legally compliant applications within Belgium.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with employees and stakeholders, effectively address conflicts, and promote a positive working atmosphere.
Process-oriented and analytical thinking to execute HR processes accurately and efficiently, manage risks, and balance the needs of both employees and business leaders.
Flexibility and willingness to travel, allowing you to switch smoothly between the three entities in Belgium and collaborate face-to-face where needed for optimal support and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
Relevant work experience is required.
A secondary education diploma or equivalent experience; a two-year college or university degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Language skills: Fluency in Dutch and English is required, as these are essential for communication. Knowledge of French is a plus, but not required.
