We are looking for a talented CAL Inventory Control Manager to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Cummins’ business in Ladson, SC.

Ensure daily production goals are consistently met by organizing workflow, allocating resources effectively, and maintaining strong floor presence to remove barriers and keep operations moving.
Strengthen safety performance by identifying hazards, reinforcing safe behaviors, and collaborating with cross‑functional partners to implement improvements that create a safer, more proactive workplace.
Enhance productivity and operational efficiency by analyzing processes, initiating continuous improvement activities, and driving solutions that reduce waste and streamline work.

Lead projects and work assignments with clear direction, effective coordination, and timely execution to support broader operational goals.
Build team capability by setting clear expectations, providing consistent feedback, and guiding employees through daily tasks, challenges, and development opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Additional Details:
Extensive experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations with a strong focus on inventory control and accuracy
Demonstrated leadership experience managing inventory, warehouse, or operations teams
Expert-level knowledge of inventory management practices, including cycle counting programs, root-cause analysis, reconciliation, and variance resolution
Advanced hands-on experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), including inventory transactions, location control, reporting, and troubleshooting
Proven ability to design, implement, and sustain inventory control processes.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting inventory data, KPIs, and audit results to drive continuous improvement
Ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, and Finance to ensure inventory accuracy and alignment
Experience operating in high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environments with shifting priorities
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to operate forklifts or other powered industrial equipment or ability to obtain certification within 180 days of hire
Experience leading enterprise-wide or multi-site inventory control programs
WMS implementation, upgrade, or optimization experience
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification
Experience with Powered industrial vehicles (order picker/cherry pickers/reach trucks)
Compensation
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
