We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Services, Maintenance and Diagnostics for our Service Operations Department in Khouribga, OCP, Chennane Mine Site, Morocco.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

  • Deliver expert on‑site diagnostics and complex engine repairs, ensuring customers experience minimal downtime and maximum equipment reliability.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive, professional support and consistently high service quality.

  • Apply advanced technical tools and procedures to accurately troubleshoot issues and complete repairs to the highest standards.

  • Execute preventative maintenance activities that improve equipment performance, reduce failures, and extend engine life.

  • Escalate challenging or unresolved technical issues appropriately, ensuring efficient resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Coach and guide technicians and apprentices, sharing knowledge, reviewing repair plans, and fostering technical excellence within the team.

  • Complete all service documentation accurately and on time, supporting warranty compliance, quality requirements, and operational efficiency.

  • Identify additional service or sales opportunities during customer interactions, contributing to business growth while ensuring adherence to all Health, Safety & Environmental standards.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred).

  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.

  • Locally valid driving permit.

  • Significant field service work experience.

  • Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.

  • Customer service experience.

  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred.)

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong diagnostic capability: Ability to interpret customer complaints, follow guided workflows, use mechanical/electronic tools, and accurately isolate faults for effective repairs.

  • Proficiency with electronic service tools:Skilled in selecting, operating, and interpreting results from specialized hardware and software to diagnose and resolve product issues.

  • Deep understanding of engine and system interactions:Knowledge of how electrical and mechanical systems integrate, using measurements, OEM publications, and tools to diagnose and repair correctly.

  • Technical accuracy and escalation discipline:Ability to document troubleshooting steps thoroughly, follow repair standards, manage complex issues through escalation, and ensure high‑quality, timely resolutions.
