Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Completing customer parts counter transactions including phone and walk-in requests
• Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Processing cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately
• Utilizing systems, catalogs, and technical resources to identify and source parts
• Supporting technicians and internal teams with timely parts fulfillment
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation and order records
• Managing inventory, shipping/receiving, and warehouse-related activities
• Identifying opportunities to upsell complementary parts and services
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe parts counter and warehouse area
• Adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures

Minimum 5 years parts experience in automotive industry
Computer skills
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Compensation and Benefits Base
Salary rate commensurate with experience. In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of warehouse inventory control practices
• Ability to process and manage customer orders through the full order life cycle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer-based order systems
• Ability to manage stock levels, shipping/receiving, and inventory-related tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and regularly
• Forklift operation knowledge
• Minimum 5 years of parts experience in the automotive industry (for internal candidates)
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to work under moderate supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Strong organizational skills and ability to optimize work processes
