We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environmental Tech - Level IV to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Cummins Inc. facility Plainfield IN

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Promote a Strong HSE Culture
    You will actively integrate HSE values into daily operations, helping to build a culture where safety and environmental responsibility are second nature.
  • Ensure Compliance and Best Practices
    By understanding and applying corporate HSE policies and regulatory requirements, you’ll help maintain compliance and reduce risk across the organization.
  • Support Incident Prevention and Response
    Your role in hazard identification, incident reporting, and corrective action follow-up will directly contribute to a safer workplace.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement
    Through participation in audits, inspections, and data analysis, you’ll help identify trends and opportunities to enhance HSE performance.
  • Enhance Communication and Awareness
    By effectively communicating HSE information, you’ll raise awareness and encourage proactive safety behaviors among team members.

Provides technical support on health, safety and environmental to production and site personnel under the guidance of the site HSE leader. Assists in the implementation, analysis, review and sustainability of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

Education

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, or Sustainability preferred.

Experience

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

  • Actively participate in hazard identification, incident investigations, and risk assessments to support a safe and compliant work environment.

  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations, processes, and risk assessment methodologies.

  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate HSE documentation and recordkeeping in line with corporate policies.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to promote HSE awareness and drive engagement.

Compensation (for United States)
