We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst Senior to join our team specializing in Finance for our our CUMMINS DRIVETRAIN AND BRAKING SYSTEMS (MERITOR) in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León. (Boulevard Nexxus 2505, Centro, 65550 Ciénega de Flores, N.L.)
Hybrid role: 3 days on site, 2 days home office.
Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Support the Operational Team in key metrics such as scrap, savings validations, finance reporting for the Plant.
Coordinates with different corporate departments (such as AP, AR, Tax, Payroll) (local and international Business Units) to ensure the integrity of the accounting during month end close.
Participating in the annual Physical inventory.
Responsible to coordinate Internal Controls within the Finance Team.
Attendance to External audits.
Prepare complex financial analyses, reports, and special studies to support management decision-making.
Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets, expense forecasts, staffing plans, and statistical reporting.
Consolidate and analyze financial performance data, including variance explanations and cost analysis.
Transition and integration from Meritor to Cummins Process.
*To be successful in this role you will need the following: *
5-8 years of proven experience preference in manufacturing companies, as a Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner, Cost Analyst or related.
Accounting, Financial reporting, Oracle, advance excel, word, power point (Office)
Advance English
Strong accounting fundamentals (P&L, Balance Sheet, accruals and provisions).
US/MEX Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Nice to have skills:
Power BI
Expertise in financial models (data analysis, macros, dashboards)
Qualifications
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
University degree in Accountant, Business Administration or Finance.
