Degree Level: BS
Educational Program: Indicate one preferred program/major; you may list others if flexible (e.g., Prefer ME, open to EE, MET). Prefer robotics or EE. Open to ME.
Start Date: Provide a tentative start date (month/year). June 2026
Key Responsibilities
Assists with the development and design of control systems; assists with the development and implementation of automation; alters software and equipment to ensure that robots and other manufacturing electronic systems are functioning according to specifications; supports and debugs basic problems and change requests.
Investigates problems and requirements of projects, and develops plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations for review by more experienced Controls Engineers or Controls Engineering Manager.
May be responsible for the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based hardware and software.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Robotics
Ability to work 100% on-site in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Fanuc robot controls, Fanuc or Siemens CNC machine controls.
