DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team at our Master Rebuild Centre in Carole Park, QLD.
In this role you will perform skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. You will select and use appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment to complete work with limited guidance. You will learn and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
You will make an impact in the following ways:
Perform skilled maintenance activities in line with role requirements and competency standards.
Repair and maintain equipment, including preventative, corrective, emergency and predictive maintenance.
Accurately document maintenance activities and provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.
Support equipment uptime through fault finding, failure analysis and proactive problem‑solving.
Work collaboratively with peers and support teams to identify constraints, improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement and TPM initiatives.
Apply high standards of workmanship and follow technical drawings, manuals, specifications and procedures.
Conduct quality inspections and raise issues to minimise cost and quality risks.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
Complete required training and development activities.
Comply with all health, safety and environmental requirements, including:
Using appropriate PPE
Identifying, correcting and reporting hazards or incidents
Stopping work where serious safety risks exist
Minimising environmental impact
Participating in mandatory HSE training

Additional Information
Full Time / 38 hours per week
Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
Domestic Relocation may be offered for the right candidate
Local Valid Drivers License (Preferred)
Experience:
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III)
Intermediate level knowledge of and experience with engine products
Forklift License preferred
