What you’ll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs, and general business environment, creating software solutions.
You will:
Lead/contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments
Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems
Measures and analyzes complex performance data, debug performance issues, and tune/rewrite parts of the product code to achieve desired performance goals.
Help with preparing/reviewing product documentation. Identify and solve scalability issues involving large data sets, mixed workloads.
Collaborate well with other engineers and other engineering groups, and voluntarily share information.

Essential Requirements
8-12 years of experience in C/C++, Systems Programming, Linux/Unix Operating System
Architect/design complex features with end-to-end ownership
Scripting (Shell) and Python/Perl/Golang expertise
Ability to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications
Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science/Engineering or related streams
