Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Lead in Rosslyn, Virginia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Oversee the creation of innovative and transformative Cloud-based information technology project solutions that address clients’ next generational needs; create effective IT visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives. Manage information technology project service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Lead the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have four years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and six years of progressive related work experience. Position requires four years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Overseeing the end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, that includes design and development of Cloud messaging, Cloud Strategy, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services;
  • Overseeing the design and implementation of data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging AWS QuickSight, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Lambda, and SolarWinds Platform, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
  • Leading stakeholder and communications management processes, including risk and issue escalation and executive reporting;
  • Leading Cloud AWS and Google Cloud Platform professional services teams that specialize in infrastructure provisioning, application modernization, and container orchestration;
  • Overseeing the planning of engagement scopes, project budgets, staffing, and managing project economics to ensure maximum project profitability;
  • Leading, developing, and delivering business development activities, including client proposals, pricing and Statement of Work (SOW) creation, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP), point of view development, and eminence;
  • Leading and implementing business transformation initiatives utilizing AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Red Hat Ansible, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2); and
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week
