Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive innovative and transformative solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Create effective visions, strategies, and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within Retail and Consumer Products sectors. Develop future-state business processes and key design decisions for critical strategic and operational areas. Conduct market analysis, including determining current and future competitive environments of business entities. Conduct technical enablement assessments to determine key processes and organizational gaps in current trade promotion management activities. Analyze industries to synthesize quantitative and qualitative financial market information, key players, and industry trends. Analyze financial and budgeting processes to identify cost levers for reduction and optimization. Assist clients in developing a shared services organization and improving back-office efficiencies by eliminating duplication and streamlining processes with a focus on stakeholder management via feasibility studies, global best practices and standards, industry benchmarks, and process scopes.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Will accept a bachelor’s equivalent based on any combination of education, experience or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Developing enterprise, customer, and operating model strategies, providing guidance to Retail and Consumer Product organizations on business growth and cost optimization, utilizing expertise in Product Management, Product Marketing, and Product Design;
  • Developing and documenting internal business services processes and metrics using Agile Methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence, combined with UX and UI Design, Wireframing, and User-Centered Design (UCD) for scalable technical solutions;
  • Providing industry insights and analytical support through data mining, pattern matching, and predictive modeling to generate analyses and algorithms, leveraging tools including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and A/B Testing;
  • Capturing and translating business requirements into high-level design documents, implementing Digital Commerce solutions using platforms including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), SAP Commerce Cloud, Sana Commerce, and marketplaces on Amazon and eBay;
  • Overseeing complete Business to Business (B2B) Commerce and Business to Consumer (B2C) Commerce Lifecycles, spanning from inception to delivery, to derive invaluable product and strategic insights;
  • Developing integrated operating model strategies by assessing challenges, needs, and gaps in business operations, diagnosing root problems, and recommending asset-focused approaches, incorporating tools including Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) and Customer Relationship Manager (CRM);
  • Designing adaptable solutions for evolving operational strategies, including warehouse, inventory, and replenishment management, with a specific focus on point-of-sale (POS) systems, omnichannel integration, and advancements in retail technology; and
  • Designing and developing performance metrics dashboards for private-label products, utilizing Microsoft Power BI for data visualization, to provide clear and precise insights into data-driven strategies.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $137,700.00-$183,600
