As Operate Lead for Cloud, you are responsible for expanding our Operate
practice. Operate is a service whereby Deloitte drives, maintains or improves
recurring critical systems, processes or applications for our clients through a
variety of services. Due to the high demand for Operate services by our
customers, we need more expertise in this area. You are part of the Consulting
Operate team where your focus is on the Cloud domain. You are responsible
for the delivery of our Cloud Managed Services and you contribute your
knowledge and experience to the sale of these services. For delivery you use
our global delivery centers and the expertise of our local people. In addition to
supporting current processes, as a subject expert you also focus on expanding
the team, optimizing processes, and innovations in the field of managed
services through automation and AI.

  • Demonstrate senior expertise in Cloud Managed Services to both customers and the internal organization;
  • Support in the field of Managed Services topics in tenders and pre-sales conversations;
  • Evaluating the delivery solution designed by experts in delivery centers;
  • Responsible for the delivery of Cloud Managed Services to our customers, where you direct communication to the customer and manage escalations;
  • Keeping short lines of communication with the rest of the Operate community at home and abroad in order to stay informed of the latest developments;
  • Using your expertise and knowledge to deliver value to our customers in addition to traditional maintenance, also with your colleagues;
  • Expanding the delivery team onshore through successful delivery of services to a growing portfolio of customers.

for this vacancy as Operate Lead Cloud you have:
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience in the field of managed services within an advisory and/or service organization;
  • Expert knowledge in the field of service management, incident management and change management, continuous service improvements, and relationship management;
  • Excellent knowledge in the field of Cloud in general, familiar with the entire IT landscape, end to end;
  • Experience building teams in an evolving environment;
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams at home and abroad;
  • The drive to build a team and grow it towards joint success;
  • An excellent command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written;

You will share your expertise with about 90 other colleagues in the Cloud
Engineering team that is part of Deloitte Consulting. Our team focuses on
building our own multi-capability engineering team.
We are cloud engineers who meet the needs of our clients today and design
their needs for the future. We support our clients in their (cloud) strategy, the
solution to their dreams and we build the future together with them. This

  • Step 3: The assessment

    When a recruiter sees enough of a match with your profile, we will ask you to complete an online assessment. By playing four online games, we can see which qualities and talents you possess and whether they align with the position you've applied for.

  • Step 4: The interview

    Depending on the scores of the career scan, you will be invited to a first interview with the recruiter. The first interview is conducted with a recruiter and someone from the team. We are curious about who you are, what you have done, and what your expectations are of a new job. We also give you more insight into what we are looking for, and what the responsibilities are that belong to the vacancy.
