Position Summary
Deloitte LLP is searching for an attorney to specialize in support of our general commercial practices.
Work You'll Do
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, primarily professional services agreements.
- Draft, review and negotiate various contracts, such as software implementation, managed services, outsourcing, and/or application maintenance services agreements.
- Advise and provide solutions to internal business clients serving commercial clients on legal issues.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a leading law firm and/or large in-house department.
- Law degree.
- Active member of a U.S. State bar
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- Experience advising various stakeholders on contractual and other transactional matters.
- Experience with drafting and negotiating services agreements, consulting agreements and/or vendor agreements.
- Experience in negotiating software implementation, managed services, outsourcing, and/or application maintenance services agreements.
- Exceptional skills negotiating and drafting.
- Business acumen with a solution-oriented, proactive, and positive approach.
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment with short deadlines, as required.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
