Position Summary
Work you’ll do
As a MSS Delivery Director, you will manage a diverse team of analysts and engineers who manage, maintain and operate cyber infrastructure and tools as well as provide 24/7 monitoring, alerting and incident response. You will work closely with Deloitte’s Security Operations Center (SOC) Delivery pool, the Service Delivery Manager and the Network Security and Information Security tower leads as the advanced escalation point for all operational and service-related tickets and projects.
- Responsible for briefing clients and leading technical conversations/workshops
- Oversee and manage SIEM configuration management, troubleshooting, and addressing complex issues, including day-to-day operations management.
- Oversee and manage Log sources integration and onboarding, including custom parser development and tuning.
- Oversee and manage SIEM architecture assessments and come up with areas of improvement.
- Manage Content engineers, Threat Management (including supporting client conversations around TIA and Threat Hunting) to support advanced Use Case development.
- Help maintain a content development/deployment baseline across clients based on the maturity of the client environment and the latest security trends.
- Help define, implement, and monitor Service Level Agreements and other additional metrics around the SOC.
- Keep abreast of the latest IT security, regulatory, and compliance trends to support various risk and data models.
- Review system security plans, network diagrams, and vulnerability and patching requirements.
- Perform quality reviews of Use Case Testing, Runbooks, and other technical documents.
- Submit documentation through the Quality Review Management process.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support (as needed).
- Mentor and train Junior technical Engineers.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
- Must be located within driving distance of Columbia, SC and be onsite at client site at least twice monthly.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must possess 10+ years’ experience in security operations and/or security engineering support.
- Must be able to work after hours to support 24X7 operations.
