Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
This role requires an experienced Oracle engagement manager to oversee the delivery and operations of Oracle-based engagements / clients across multiple industries and geographies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive expertise in Oracle Cloud and on-premise applications, with a particular focus on managed services, operational excellence, continuous improvement leveraging tools and value adds. Experience leading distributed teams and managing complex, multi-country engagements is essential.
The Team
The Enterprise Operations as a Service Offering addresses our clients’ needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts. We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements through our 5 key offerings: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Finance Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Operate engagements, including service transition, steady-state operations, and ongoing enhancements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring alignment of service delivery with business objectives and contractual commitments.
- Oversee a global team of 50+ professionals, including functional, technical, and support resources, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities for service improvement and additional value creation.
- Manage service level agreements (SLAs), monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive initiatives for continuous process optimization.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including Oracle functional leads, technical architects, and business analysts—to resolve complex issues and deliver solutions.
- Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure optimal team utilization and cost management.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer, end-user training, and change management activities to support client adoption and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Deloitte’s quality standards, risk management protocols, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in Oracle application management, managed services, or related consulting roles.
- Proven track record managing large, geographically dispersed teams in a matrix environment.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and/or Oracle E-Business Suite modules.
- Strong client management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with ITIL processes, service management tools, and operational reporting.
- Ability to drive process improvements and lead change in complex environments.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
