Work You’ll Do
The Engagement Lead is a senior leader responsible for advancing Deloitte’s IIP solution within the transportation sector. This role combines deep technical and product knowledge with sales and client engagement expertise. You will guide go-to-market strategies, serve as a chief evangelist for the solution, adapt IIP to client needs, and position Deloitte as a leader in technology-enabled infrastructure.
- Lead and execute the go-to-market strategy for IIP in the transportation sector, building awareness, engagement, and adoption.
- Serve as a key evangelist and subject matter expert for IIP, representing Deloitte at industry events and executive client engagements.
- Act as the main contact for prospective clients, leveraging deep technical knowledge to address business and architectural questions.
- Scope and evaluate client-specific customization requests, providing technical assessment and input for pricing and delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to design customized IIP solutions that address operational needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Partner with Deloitte account teams to pursue new business, develop compelling sales materials, and drive pipeline growth and conversion.
- Give continuous feedback to product teams from client interactions and market trends to inform enhancements and support scalable delivery.
- Strengthen Deloitte’s market leadership by publishing thought leadership, tracking business metrics, and building key technology partner relationships.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
- Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- 10 + years of experience translating technical concepts into business value for executive clients.
- 10+ years of professional experience designing or leading complex technology solutions for transportation or infrastructure.
- 5 + years of professional experience and In-depth technical knowledge of Infrastructure Insights Pro (IIP), including architecture and scalability.
- 5 + years of professional experience in sales, go-to-market strategy, or business development for technology solutions.
- 3 + years of experience supporting analytical analysis for custom solution scoping and pricing.
Preferred:
- Masters Degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field.
- 5 + years of experience as a product owner, solution architect, or tech leader in transportation/infrastructure.
- 10 + years of experience in consulting/professional services environments.

This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,700 to $292,900.
