Work You’ll Do
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products developed on the Salesforce platform. You will perform functional, end-to-end (E2E), and smoke testing across all system personas, working closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate software solutions and elevate the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Comprehensive Testing: Conduct functional, E2E, and smoke testing of Salesforce-developed products, ensuring robust quality across all system personas (e.g., admin, end user, manager).
- Develop & Maintain Test Cases: Design, document, and continually update test cases and scripts based on product requirements, user stories, and technical documentation.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track defects; work collaboratively with development teams for prompt resolution.
- Test Planning: Collaborate in the creation of test plans and ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to understand requirements and ensure testing aligns with business needs.
- Automation Awareness: If applicable, contribute to or leverage automated testing frameworks to optimize testing cycles.
- Regression Testing: Ensure existing functionality remains unaffected after new releases or updates.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed, up-to-date testing documentation and test result reports.

Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience testing Salesforce applications or platforms
- Hands-on understanding of Salesforce system personas, workflows, and user stories
- Experience with functional, E2E, and smoke testing methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Ability to be on location 80% of time based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 to $130,000.
