What will your typical day look like?

As a Global Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in advancing Indigenous procurement growth and economic empowerment, supporting Deloitte Canada’s commitments outlined in the renewed Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This position is essential to ensuring continued advancement and sustainability of Indigenous supplier engagement, tangible economic impact for Indigenous communities and increasing Indigenous representation within Deloitte Canada’s supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance procurement processes and collect feedback from Indigenous businesses to increase accessibility for Indigenous businesses.
• Continue to build and implement on the Indigenous Business Participation strategy which is focused on driving economic impact for Indigenous communities.
• Support reporting, tracking, and continuous improvement of Indigenous procurement efforts, including Tier 2 spend and Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB)’s Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) program requirements.
• Lead engagement and inclusion of Indigenous-owned suppliers (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) across procurement categories.
• Manage and enhance the Indigenous Supplier Portal, including identification of new suppliers and implementation of process improvements.
• Facilitate connections between Indigenous businesses and procurement leaders; support supplier development initiatives.
• Educate Deloitte practitioners and leaders on Indigenous procurement opportunities through communications and training.
• Collaborate with relevant supplier associations and internal teams to identify new opportunities and best practices.

About the team

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier engagement, procurement, or related field.
• Experience and strong understanding working with Indigenous businesses and communities.
• Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with supplier engagement databases (e.g., supplier.io) and reporting tools.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
