AI & Engineering leverages innovative engineering capabilities to build, deploy, and operate integrated/verticalized sector solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. These solutions are powered by engineering for business advantage, transforming mission-critical operations. We enable clients to stay ahead with the latest advancements by transforming engineering teams and modernizing technology & data platforms. Our delivery models are tailored to meet each client's unique requirements.

As a Hybrid Cloud Transformation Manager, you will lead end-to-end hybrid cloud strategy and execution—from cloud economics and business case development to migration roadmaps and landing zone design. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and cloud providers to modernize platforms, optimize run-rate, and drive measurable business outcomes for clients.

Work you'll do
As a Hybrid Cloud Transformation Manager on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading discovery, assessment, and wave planning across application portfolios to build hybrid cloud migration roadmaps
  • Building multi-year total cost of ownership models, cash-flow analyses, and business cases to inform executive decisions
  • Designing or reviewing secure, compliant landing zones and disaster recovery architectures across multiple cloud providers
  • Coordinating with cloud providers and independent software vendors to develop joint solution roadmaps and go-to-market plans
  • Managing delivery across workstreams, milestones, and risks, using data to track progress and value realization

The Team
Our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure offering delivers specialized engineering capabilities to design, implement, manage, and operate hybrid cloud environments. We modernize networks and AI infrastructure from the core to the edge and develop new infrastructure and device services to help clients stay ahead with the latest technological advancements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years in cloud strategy, transformation, or migration planning for enterprise portfolios
  • 5+ years designing or reviewing cloud architectures on at least one of: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience leading portfolio assessments of 30+ applications and creating migration wave plans
  • Experience building multi-year financial models for cloud migrations totaling $50M+ in investments or savings
  • At least one current cloud certification from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Azure certification, or Google Cloud professional-level certification (current)
  • 2+ years designing or implementing cloud landing zones and disaster recovery runbooks
  • 2+ years’ experience collaborating with cloud providers or independent software vendors on joint solution development
  • Experience presenting cloud business cases to executive audiences
  • Experience leading migrations that modernize workloads to serverless containers, or managed data services across two or more cloud providers

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Jersey City, New Jersey, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Jersey City, New Jersey and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
