Position Summary
Work You’ll Do
As a Consultant on the project, you will:
- Execute end-to-end health benefits processing for new hires, open enrollment, Qualified Life Events (QLEs), terminations, and coverage changes.
- Verify and validate participant documentation to confirm dependent eligibility and life event evidence (e.g., marriage, birth, other QLE documents).
- Manage benefits cases through intake-to-closure workflows, including task tracking, timely status updates, and escalation of risks or blockers.
- Maintain accurate benefits data across the benefits platform, payroll systems, and carrier feeds by identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Perform reconciliation activities to ensure enrollment elections align to payroll deductions and to resolve carrier discrepancies.
- Coordinate with payroll, carriers, and internal teams to investigate issues, communicate outcomes, and meet processing deadlines and service expectations.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and identify automation opportunities based on recurring case trends.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- 3+ years of experience delivering benefits plans for clients in roles such as a product manager, benefits operations manager, benefits analysts, benefits administration, business analysis etc.
- 2 + years of experience with enrollment processing, QLE handling, and case management systems.
- Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Prior experience supporting Federal, State, or Local benefits products preferred.
- Prior experience supporting Large employer environments strongly perferred.
- Familiarity with: benefit administration platforms and HRIS systems.
