Position Summary
Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.
Work You’ll Do
As a Project Delivery Specialist on the project, you will:
- Design, prepare, and review audit-ready deliverables that support Fund Balance with Treasury and related general fund reporting requirements.
- Prepare and perform detailed reviews of Treasury Reporting key controls to help trace disbursement and reimbursement activity to U.S. Treasury with a high degree of completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor materiality thresholds, system changes, and process changes across disbursing sources, and update existing key controls or implement new controls needed to sustain audit readiness.
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders to schedule meetings, request and organize documentation, and support the timely completion of treasury reporting and audit deliverables.
- Utilize data visualization and reporting tools to analyze results, identify trends or exceptions, and present findings clearly to stakeholders and auditors.
- Prepare and respond to auditor requests on an ad hoc basis, often within compressed timelines, while maintaining quality and traceability of support.
- Develop clear written materials, status updates, and briefing content to communicate control performance, issues, and remediation activities to leadership and project teams.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Secret security clearance required
- 4+ years experience supporting audit readiness, treasury reporting, internal controls, financial reporting, or federal financial management activities
- 4+ years experience in a combination of the following areas:
- Designing, executing, reviewing, or sustaining key controls and audit support documentation in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
- Analyzing disbursement, reimbursement, reconciliation, or treasury-related transactions and investigating variances or exceptions
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to obtain support, manage requests, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines
- 2+ years in Excel and experience with data visualization or reporting tools used to analyze and present financial or control-related results
- Ability to work on-site in Prince George County, MD up to 5 days per week
