This Senior Consultant role is designed for a high-performing digital strategist and marketing analytics professional who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is energized by solving complex business problems at the intersection of strategy, data, and marketing operations. Offered as a fixed-term contract, the role embeds you directly within a client engagement in the cloud marketing space, where you will operate with the independence, executive presence, and structured thinking of a seasoned consultant.

You will function as a force multiplier for senior client leadership, serving as a trusted strategic advisor, owning executive communications, and ensuring continuity of vision across a complex, matrixed organization. This role is best suited for someone who is equally comfortable shaping go-to-market strategy, directing analytical workstreams, and translating complex marketing performance data into clear recommendations that drive decisions at the leadership level. You anticipate problems before they become crises, bring solutions rather than just issues, and hold yourself to an uncompromising standard of quality on every deliverable.

What will your typical day look like?

This role is entirely focused on partner marketing strategy and performance insights. You will act as a critical advisor to leadership, taking unstructured business questions and translating them into actionable strategy and plans. Core responsibilities include:

Strategic Initiatives: Own a portfolio of high-visibility strategic projects throughout the year, requiring the backfill to navigate high levels of ambiguity to scope, design, and execute initiatives from the ground up.

Performance Reporting: Architect monthly and quarterly performance reviews, translating raw data and interviews into compelling insights that drive strategic action.

Strategic Advisor to Marketers: Act as a dedicated thought partner to global and regional marketing teams to drive performance improvement.

Annual Planning: Drive the annual planning cycle, utilizing market research and rigorous data analytics to set strategic priorities, allocate resources, and define OKRs.

Target Setting: Partner with Central Strategy S&O to design and set performance targets, which requires financial and performance modeling, data analysis, and a comprehensive understanding of the partner go-to-market motion.

You will join a high-performing Deloitte team operating alongside senior client leadership, trusted as an integrated member of the client’s strategy function, not an arm’s-length advisor. You will also be part of building something new: a strategy and operations capability being stood up from the ground floor, which means your contributions will have direct, visible impact from day one.

Requirements:

This is a highly visible, executive-facing strategy role. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience at the intersection of strategy and analytics, or partner marketing, alongside the following core competencies:

Strategy & Executive Storytelling: Exploys a hypothesis-driven approach to tackle complex, ambiguous business problems. Highly skilled at structuring logical frameworks, synthesizing disparate quantitative and qualitative inputs, and crafting compelling, “consulting-style” presentations that clearly articulate the “so what” to shape future strategy.

Navigating Ambiguity: Excels at tackling and solving broad, undefined problems with limited guidance.

Data Analytics & Modeling: Advanced hands-on SQL and Google Sheets/Excel proficiency. Must be capable of navigating data warehouse architecture and connecting tables (e.g. joins, appends)

Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to engage with Senior Director/VP-level leadership. Masters the “bottom line up front” approach, possessing the executive presence to confidently distill complex operational noise into high-altitude strategic insights, field tough questions, and drive rapid decision-making under pressure.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Expertly builds high-trust relationships to influence without direct authority across global marketing, sales, and finance. Synthesizes diverse stakeholder perspectives to drive consensus and unify cross-functional teams.

B2B Cloud/Tech Expertise: Foundational understanding of B2B tech or cloud computing industry’s go-to-market motions, channel incentive structures, and consumption-based economics.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
