What will your typical day look like?
As a Project Specialist, you will play a hands-on role in delivering operational and strategic initiatives by combining project coordination, advanced analytics, and technical solutioning. You will be directly involved in building, analyzing, and automating solutions that improve business processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and support data-driven decision-making across Audit & A ssuarance Operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of execution, data, and technology, with strong ownership of deliverables and a focus on tangible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated solutions and data pipelines using advanced Excel, VBA and related tools.
- Perform advanced data analysis to generate insights and support decision-making across A&A Operations.
- Develop robust dashboards and visualizations to support operational and strategic reporting.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical and analytical solutions, while supporting project delivery and risk management.
About the team
Audit Operational Support is a national enablement team within A&A Operations that plays a critical role in executing and advancing enterprise priorities through integrated project delivery, advanced analytics, and process transformation. The team drives measurable impact by optimizing core operational processes, leveraging data and automation to enhance scalability, efficiency, and decision-making across the business. Operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, team members partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into practical, high-quality solutions that enable sustained operational excellence.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:
- Brings 2–5+ years of experience in analytics, process improvement, automation, and project management, supported by a Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials and/or a professional designation.
- Demonstrates strong analytical capability, with the ability to synthesize complex data, identify key insights, and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Translates data into actionable insights, combining critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity to drive informed decision-making.
- Experience leveraging data and automation to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Is highly motivated and self-driven, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Communicates effectively with peers and senior stakeholders, and thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Consistently delivers high-quality outputs on time, with strong attention to detail and accountability for results.
- Possesses strong technical proficiency in tools such as advanced Excel, VBA, Tableau, Power Query and Power BI.
It would be great for you to have some of these nice to have’s as well:
- Experience with Alteryx, Power Apps, and Power Automate will be considered a strong asset.
- Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National clients, bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
- Fluency in Spanish will be an asset.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
