This role is designed for a high-performing marketing professional who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and is energized by driving measurable impact through integrated campaigns and strategic partnerships. As a Public Sector Growth & Digital Marketing Specialist, on a 1-year fixed term, you will play a key role in raising awareness and accelerating adoption of Google Cloud solutions across public sector organizations, including government and education.
You will operate across the full customer lifecycle—from initial market awareness through to long-term advocacy—owning the execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive new business acquisition, deepen customer engagement, and grow user communities. Working closely with sales and cross-functional teams, you will help public sector clients navigate digital transformation while continuously optimizing marketing performance through data-driven insights.

What will your typical day look like?

• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns targeting public sector audiences to drive awareness, demand generation, and pipeline growth
• Partner closely with sales, partner marketing, and cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business priorities and customer needs
• Design and deliver marketing programs that guide customers through the full journey—from discovery and consideration to adoption and advocacy
• Lead the execution of public sector events, community engagement programs, and thought leadership initiatives
• Support the growth of user communities and customer engagement programs to strengthen long-term relationships
• Manage external vendors and agencies to support campaign execution, content development, and program delivery
• Track, measure, and report on campaign performance using CRM and marketing automation platforms
• Translate performance data into actionable insights to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness and ROI
• Contribute to go-to-market planning and help refine messaging tailored to government and education stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and engagement approaches within a growing marketing function

About the team

You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing marketing team focused on accelerating the adoption of cloud technologies across Canada’s public sector. The team works closely with global and regional stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven programs that support public sector organizations in their digital transformation journeys.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with these skills, experience and qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, campaign management, or industry marketing, ideally within technology, cloud, or public sector environments

• Demonstrated ability to partner with sales and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously

• Analytical mindset, with experience tracking performance metrics and translating insights into recommendations
• Experience managing vendors, agencies, and marketing program budgets
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to public sector audiences

It would be great for you to have some of these nice to haves as well:
• Experience marketing to public sector organizations (government, education, or broader public services)
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and digital transformation initiatives
• Experience driving community engagement or customer advocacy programs
• Exposure to demand generation strategies focused on pipeline growth and measurable ROI
