Position Summary
Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.
Work you'll do
As a PROJECT - Manager, Controllership on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) records by tracking acquisitions, transfers, and disposals
- Reviewing capitalization and expense treatment and performing reconciliations between the general ledger and property systems or trackers
- Executing asset valuation and compliance activities, including depreciation reviews, valuation support, and audit request support
- Assessing existing fixed asset policies and procedures and advising on updates or creation of new documentation
- Supporting client financial operations through fixed asset reporting, record maintenance, and issue resolution

We work with the CFO, CAO, controller, and treasurer to develop an efficient, high quality, data-driven, tech-enabled controllership and treasury function that empowers our clients to drive more value to their business partners and to their investors.
The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
- 5+ years of experience with fixed asset or property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) tracking, valuation, and policy support
- 2+ years of experience supporting Intelligence Community clients
- 5+ years of experience with information technology invoices and purchase orders
- Ability to work onsite in McLean, Virginia 5 days per week
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Experience maintaining property, plant, and equipment records in a federal environment
- Experience reconciling general ledger balances to property systems or asset trackers
- Experience supporting depreciation reviews, asset valuation activities, or audit requests
- Experience drafting or evaluating fixed asset policies and procedures
