Work You Will Do

Platform Architecture & Advisory

  • Serve as the ServiceNow subject matter expert for the Finance Operate Platform, advising on architectural decisions across Offering delivery portal workflows, integrations, and configurations.
  • Design and implement workflow orchestration, intake management, approval flows, exception handling, SLA tracking, and client governance capabilities on ServiceNow.
  • Define and enforce modular, reusable workflow components, integration patterns, and configuration standards to accelerate future engagements.
  • Partner with the onshore AI/Automation Architect and offshore ServiceNow Developer to align platform direction and deliver against the integration roadmap.

Build, Configuration & Quality

  • Lead ServiceNow development and configuration for Offering delivery portal features, ensuring production-grade quality, security, and performance.
  • Define non-functional requirements and validate compliance prior to releases.
  • Establish development standards, peer review processes, and deployment controls for ServiceNow workstreams.

Integration & Data

  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external Finance Operate systems, including ERP/subledger data feeds, accelerator outputs, and analytics platforms.
  • Define data models, API contracts, and event-driven integration patterns aligned to platform architecture standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide technical guidance and independent architectural recommendations to senior team members and client stakeholders.
  • Document platform designs, integration specifications, and technical decisions for audit readiness and operational continuity.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow platform releases, capabilities, and emerging patterns relevant to Finance Operate delivery.

The team

Our Finance Operate offering provides ongoing operation of the Finance function as an extension of Deloitte’s Finance Transformation Advise and Implement offering portfolio. The team works across finance strategy, process, operations, and technology to help organizations enable scalable finance outcomes. Professionals in this practice support delivery in complex environments while helping clients advance modernization across Finance Operate capabilities.
