Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Work You’ll Do
Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
- Utilizing Anaplan, Agile Delivery Methodology, Financial Planning and Analysis Maturity Model, Driver-Based Planning (DBP), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) and Consumer industries;
- Researching user reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes and resolutions, and implementing fixes, utilizing Anaplan Model History, Selective Access Analysis, Dimensional Consistency Checks, List Hierarchy Validation, Formula Dependency Tracing, data import error logs, and Regression Comparison;
- Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Agile Defect Tracking, Jira, Severity Classification, and Root Cause Documentation (RCA);
- Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress utilizing Agile and Hybrid methodologies, Smartsheets, Sprint Plans, Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs, and Milestone Tracking Dashboards;
- Working across all phases of the Agile lifecycle to design, develop, test and implement Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Rolling Forecast, Long-Range Planning (LRP), Workforce Planning, Capital Planning, and Management Reporting Dashboards for enterprise-level clients;
- Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing structured stakeholder interviews, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), user stories, acceptance criteria documentation, backlog grooming, and sprint review workshops;
- Utilizing Anaplan Testing Approach, Anaplan model copy environments, Excel-based test scripts, test case repositories, defect logs, UAT sign-off trackers, and controlled data validation checklists to ensure successful design and implementation of solutions; and
- Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing Business Process Modeling (BPM), Financial Planning and Analysis Operating Model Assessments, DBP, integrated planning design principles, and Anaplan Solution Architecture Standards.
