Position Summary
Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. We offer comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, covering areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. As a Senior Consultant in M&A Assets within Innovation and Delivery Transformation, you will help turn business priorities into actionable roadmaps, advance technology-enabled solutions, and support leaders in delivering measurable outcomes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to move ideas from concept to execution, including using artificial intelligence tools to accelerate prototyping, clarify requirements, and improve delivery speed.
Work You'll Do
As a Senior Consultant on the Innovation and Delivery Transformation team, you will be responsible for helping Strategy & Transactions leaders within the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Offering execute high-priority initiatives related to service innovation, service delivery transformation, and product innovation. You will:
- Support delivery workstreams across internal initiatives, aligning execution plans to strategic objectives and business outcomes
- Frame high-value business questions, define KPIs, and develop hypotheses that drive actionable analysis for deal teams and clients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of technology-enabled and AI-enabled products and solutions that improve business performance and operational effectiveness, including dashboards, predictive models and segmentation analyses.
- Translate business priorities into product requirements, roadmaps, delivery plans, and implementation milestones
- Develop lightweight proofs of concept, workflow mockups, and illustrative demos using artificial intelligence tools to help stakeholders visualize solutions and refine requirements before engineering engagement
- Serve as a connector across business, product, engineering, and development teams while supporting governance, milestone tracking, risk management, dependency management, and reporting
- Prepare handoff packages including requirements, code, architecture plans, and delivery roadmaps- for longer-term implementation teams.

The Team
Strategy & Transactions helps drive enterprise priorities by bringing strategic insight together with disciplined execution. Within this environment, Innovation and Delivery Transformation focuses on enabling leaders and teams to deliver complex initiatives more effectively through strong governance, structured execution, and practical, business-focused solutions.
M&A advises corporate and PE clients across inorganic growth/divestiture scenarios through M&A strategy, diligence, integration/separation planning and execution, financial and modeling services, and transaction financing. The Innovation and Delivery team acts as a rapid analytics development engine supporting Strategy & Transactions engagements by building prototype analytics solutions that inform critical business decisions.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in strategy execution, transformation, program management, or product delivery
- 3+ years of professional experience in analytics, data science, consulting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience supporting large, cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation
- 2+ years of experience supporting the development or delivery of technology-enabled products, platforms, or solutions
- 2+ years of experience translating business priorities into product requirements, roadmaps, and delivery plans, and working with product, engineering, and development teams across the delivery lifecycle
- Experience using LLMs and AI-assisted development in day-to-day work: coding with AI assistants, using APIs for data collection, and integrating AI into analytical workflows.
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Master of Business Administration or advanced degree in business, strategy, or technology
- Experience in professional services, private equity, corporate strategy, enterprise transformation, internal business operations, or product management
- Experience using artificial intelligence tools to prototype concepts, develop illustrative artifacts, or accelerate requirements definition
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Experience supporting internal clients in a large, matrixed organization
- Experience supporting program management office governance, risk management, dependency management, and delivery reporting
- Familiarity with financial concepts and interest in relevant M&A
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York state, Nevada, Virginia, Washington state, Washington, DC, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,700 to $207,800.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
