Position Summary

The Team

The Operate Sales Executive cohort supports Deloitte’s Operate Go-To-Market strategy to open greenfield accounts and new opportunities within current clients related to managed services sales opportunities. Working hand-in-hand with Partners, Principals and Managing Directors, these sales executives focus their highly skilled efforts in securing relationships with qualified targets and decision-makers to uncover opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process.

Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP is seeking a high-performing client relationship and solutions Sales Executive with an entrepreneurial mindset, proven experience in managed services, and a track record of driving complex, outcome-focused sales, to lead the pursuit and growth of clients within our Operate practice. The Operate practice focuses on selling and delivering Application Management, Infrastructure, Data, Cloud, Cyber, Engineering, and BPaaS services within the Life Sciences/Health Care industry.

Work you’ll do

As a Vice President, Sales Executive within Deloitte's Operate practice, you will drive growth of Operate managed services offerings across Life Sciences/Health Care clients, including:

  • Build and manage the sales pipeline for Operate managed services opportunities across Life Sciences/Health Care clients, from lead identification through close.
  • Develop and execute account-specific go-to-market and sales strategies to grow Deloitte's Operate footprint within existing Health Care Provider and Payer clients.
  • Lead and coordinate pursuit teams — including practitioners, delivery leads, and account teams — to shape, position, and close complex managed services deals.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers to advance Deloitte's Operate value proposition.
  • Partner with Account teams, Third-Party Advisors (TPAs), and industry event teams to generate and convert demand for Operate offerings.
  • Track and report on pipeline health, deal status, and quota attainment to Operate practice leadership.

The successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Executive presence and strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders across complex, long sales cycles

Qualifications

Required:

  • Required education or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex client relationships and generating IT outsourcing/managed services deals
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a Sales Executive role, with established senior client/prospect executive relationships and the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels
  • Ability to travel up to 60%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Strong solutioning experience shaping complex, outcome-focused managed services solutions, including working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence & Engineering (AI&E) and Business Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS)
  • Proven experience selling managed/outsourced solutions, including navigating long sales cycles and large-scale deals, with existing TPA relationships (ISG/Avasant/Everest/Gartner)
