Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Dallas, Texas.

Work You’ll Do
Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Drive various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Driving implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and data conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Talend, Agile Methodology, Visual Studio (VS) Code, Microsoft (MS) Visio, Figma, and Snowflake;
  • Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira Align, Salesforce custom applications, RAID Log, defect tracker, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft (MS) Office Suite;
  • Defining project approaches and driving Salesforce Sales, Service, and Nonprofit Cloud implementation activities across the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including requirements gathering, feature grooming, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user story definition, process design, and assessment of business and launch readiness;
  • Developing detailed implementation plans for deploying various Salesforce Cloud functionalities and integrations, establishing key project milestones and defining high-level architecture and design;
  • Working across all phases of the Software Development lifecycle (SDLC) to design, develop, test, and implement cloud-based applications, utilizing Agile Methodology for enterprise-level clients in the Telecommunications and Nonprofit industries;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing MS Visio, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Lucidchart; and
  • Utilizing Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL), MuleSoft, and Custom Lighting Web Components on Cloud to store database queries, data mappings, functions, and procedures for inserting, updating, and deleting data.
