Job Title: SL3 Lead Engineer (m/w/d) – Instrument and Common Reference Data

Your key responsibilities
- Estimate the Business Requirement with proper justification.
- 100% Code Commit percentage.
- Willing to Understand new technologies and reference data product.
- Ensure 0% defect leakage with the code quality.
Your skills and experience
Technical Skills
- Experience applying technical solutions to improve the stability of production environments.
- Extensive Experience of Oracle 12G and 19G
- Extensive Experience in Java 1.7 and/or 1.8.
- Excellent working experience of Unix/Linux, scripting (Shell, Perl, Python etc.) and Control-M scheduler.
- Exposure to middleware (such as Message Queue (MQ), Solace, Kafka).
- Exposure to Scrum Agile methodology.
- DB GCP (Terraform, Landing Zone etc.) experience would be preferred.
- Must have clear understanding about the SDLC lifecycle.
- Experience in code management tools like SVN/git etc.
- Experience with GoldenSource 8.7.2 version would be highly preferred.
- Excellent Debugging Skills.
Domain
- Extensive Experience in Capital Markets Domain is preferred.
- Extensive Experience in reference data is preferred.
Soft skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Share skills and knowledge in a wide range for topics relating to software delivery.
- Mentor and teach other junior members.
- Flexible working hours
- Ability to work under pressure situations.
Education/Qualifications
- We are happy to consider candidates with a wide variety of educational backgrounds and qualifications. Qualifications in computer science, business and economics are beneficial for the role.
- We also look favorably upon candidates with equivalent practical experience. This could have been gained in the workplace or in other contexts, such as contributing to open-source software or working on personal projects.
