Overview
As a SRE Engineer on our Technology team, you will play a major role in building a strategic global platform for a real time payments application with low latency and high throughput in a global distributed team across regions with Scaled Agile Methodologies. By engaging with the team to work on highly sought-after Real-time payments domain you will help us in developing software to make underlying systems more resilient, automated, and self-healing over time. What You’ll Do
You partner with Engineering stakeholders to design and deliver a reliable, scalable, secure, and performant platform
You will be responsible for ensuring that the underlying infrastructure is running smooth, and that systems and tools are working as expected
Continuous integration and continuous delivery
Monitoring critical applications and services to minimize downtime and ensure their availability
Work on Applications/Tools like Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Terraform, APM tools such as New Relic or AppDynamics, Splunk
Write simple Structured Query Language (SQL) queries and work on some basic Programming (J2EE, JAVA) and configuring environment
Skills You’ll Need
Relevant experience with Openshift/Fabric GitHub actions, Terraform (Preferably on Google Cloud), Google Cloud with SDK
Relevant experience with Kubernetes deployment automation, OpenShift deployment automation, experience in configuring Jenkins’s pipeline preferably with groovy scripting, maven in Java and spring boot application and docker
Experienced with Access Management Program (APM) tools such as New Relic or AppDynamics, creating dashboards and alerts, logging tools such as Splunk, creating dashboards and alerts
Expertise on shell scripting and certificate management, knowledge of J2EE and spring boot applications with basic programming skills
Good knowledge on oracle database objects, permissions, and ability to write SQL queries, Understanding of database deployment automation tools like flyway and Liquibase

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary, NC is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
