ICG (Institutional Client Group) is a global sales team covering institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in several countries across Asia.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual based in Sydney to join the Rates Sales Team.

Your key responsibilities:
- Work with local Head of Rate Sales to deliver on the sales strategy in line with the Bank’s strategy, the Bank’s resource capacity, and the available business opportunity.
- Manage your own set of clients to deliver on individual performance targets.
- Prospect for and develop new clients.
- Identify operational efficiencies that can be gained with technology and workflow solutions
- Work closely with Trading to expand the Australia Rates Flow Business in a profitable manner.
- Distribute Global Rates Product to local Institutional investors.
- Regularly meet face to face with clients. This will include some travel.
- Support your Rate Sales team members in their roles as required.
- Ensure your activities are conducted in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements.
Your skills and experience:
- 10+ years’ experience within rates across both cash and derivatives.
- Client coverage experience focusing on flow rates
- Strong institutional client relationships with existing Australian clients
- Education – University degree level
