In Liquidity domain we are working every day to help our corporate clients run their business more smoothly. The clients that will be using and/or benefiting from results of your work are well-known multinational corporates (many of which you know and use their products). The products we provide to clients are sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit-facilities, term deposits and off-balance sheet investments. Those products help clients to make payments to their employees, suppliers, and achieve their cash management goals.

As a Lead Business Functional Analyst, you will join the agile development team and be responsible for analysis and requirements aspects for new services, design of optimal target state functions and processes aligning them front to back within the application architecture and Corporate Banking IT landscape.

Main focus will be definition of business and functional requirements for liquidity products, and rollout of liquidity products to new and existing Corporate Bank branches.

You will work in close collaboration with respective business departments, and the distributed development team located in US, Spain, and Berlin.

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive business and functional analysis, collaborating with business users to understand market requirements

  • Design optimal functional architecture, partnering with engineers on high-level solution architecture design and low-level user-stories

  • Play a coordination role across business users, product owners and IT teams in end-to-end design and delivery of functional flows

  • Elaborate business requirements, flow quality functional requirements into engineering team, and collaborate with QAs to ensure that engineering team is delivering on those requirements

  • Drive user acceptance testing with business users and product owners, consolidate and provide feedback to engineering team.

Your skills and experiences

  • Solid hands-on experience in technology and business/functional analysis: owning requirements end-to-end, starting from a vision and up to production go-live.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to identify issues independently, grasp new concepts, provide insights and solutions, and oversee their delivery

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate and collaborate with business and technology colleagues. Fluent written and spoken English

  • Solid subject-matter expertise in Liquidity Management, Deposits, Payments, Core Banking is a big plus

  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL, coding experience in any language and/or experience in software testing is a plus
