Deutsche Bank New Banking (Tribe Digital Products)

In the newly founded New Banking division, 800 colleagues from the IT and business sectors work together in agile teams. Here, 7 tribes focus on different projects to jointly develop 40+ IT applications for the future. With the agile approach, we bring together diverse professional roles that take digitalisation in banking to the next level to ensure a significant difference for our clients, employees and the bank. In the New Banking division, Tribe Digital Products is responsible for the digital products for online and mobile banking at Deutsche Bank, including the brands norisbank and Postbank. These include the financial planner, the multi-banking integration, the eSafe, the comprehensive digital investment journey and the digital insurance manager.

Your key responsibilities

  • As an engineer (QA tester), your job is to ensure the quality of our systems and processes by conducting tests in close cooperation with our development team.

  • Planning and all test activities related to online banking (web frontend) and apps with a focus on the financial planner: test analysis, test case creation, test execution, error analysis and the organization of complete test cycles

  • Plan and implement the full set of test automation activities (unit, integration and UI tests): create, maintain and excute automated tests

  • Develop and extend in-house Test Automation tools and test frameworks

  • Work collaboratively with Dev/QA engineers within the Feature teams (Scrum team), Product Owner and Scrum Master to build and maintain features

Your skills and experiences

  • Several years (3-5 years) of experience in project management/test management (and/or leading test teams) in the banking environment Previous experience

Specific knowledge:

  • Experience in test automation, especially automated front-end testing with Selenium/Cucumber or BDD. Java (implementation of Cucumber tests). REST Api testing, automated and manual tests e.g. Postman, SoapUI, LoadUI, as well as encryption and authorization strategies e.g. JWT

  • Basic knowledge of Google Cloud technologies and containerization e.g. Fabric (=Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes)

  • Experience / dealing with developer tools such as Intellij (or other common IDEs), Maven, Gradle, Git/Bitbucket.

  • Language skills: English and German

  • Effective team player with good communication, self-organization and interpersonal skills
