Location: Mumbai

Role Description

Business Management is responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the bank's mission and goals. Work includes: •Delivering and improving the functions performed by the Business Management community •Researching and analysing industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest •Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of discreet sub-units, be they products, desks, infrastructure or control areas of activity or a geographical region •Developing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans for projects •utilising comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business •Synthesizing and collating business insights for specific divisional stakeholders and supporting the improvement of policies, processes and procedures to deliver consistent and reliable products / services •Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best value for functions / units •Building relationships with external points of contact (e.g. regulators, auditors, etc.) and industry bodies

Your Key Responsibilities

Central Performance Management Team - Cost Management & Transfer Pricing

  • Centrally overlook forecast and planning processes, interacting with the business/CFO as necessary.
  • Assist with the consolidating key drivers for Cost movements which will help the Management team to achieve financial targets and maintain a sharp cost discipline.
  • Working on various cost reduction initiatives and providing regular project updates to senior management
  • Conduct various ad hoc analysis and address issues that are complementary to the regular planning and forecasting processes.
  • Monthly Cost Forecast uploads in the system after finalizing with the CFO/COO.
  • IPB Estimates uploads in the system after finalizing with the COO.
  • Driver Based Cost Management deep dives, validation and support
  • Analysis & Monitoring of OEA and Global Services processes for Actuals, Planning & Forecasts
  • Working across different areas of DB on validity of TP agreements and applied methodologies
  • Management of key agreements
  • Project Manage various Cost and Resource Management related activities
  • Other IPB Central tasks as necessary

Production Support

  • Perform monthly production elements for internal systems.
  • Run monthly cycles and ensure delivery as per schedule.

Your Skills & Experience

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in Accountancy or Management Consulting
  • Aptitude for analytical tasks and ability to pull out the key messages
  • Ability to constructively challenge senior colleagues
  • Very Good Excel working knowledge
  • Strong communication skills with excellent English, both orally and written
  • Good knowledge of the financial sector
