Your key responsibilities
A GEM trader will focus-on and develop China rates and FX market; and re-enforce existing franchise in China.
Primary responsibilities will be trading and risk management of China interbank FX and Rates market, possessing view of China Marco policy and able to market make FX and Rates for corporates and onshore/offshore investors. As a representative of the GEM business, the person will also be responsible for business development and franchise building; providing local presence for the global business.
As a GEM Trader you will be responsible for:
Growing the onshore FX and Rates market (Spot/Forward/CCS/Bond/IRS/option)
Trading China FX and Rates market.
Working closely with sales/structuring to build and expand the RMB franchise with onshore/offshore institutional and corporate clients
Generating and pitching trade ideas to clients, actively seeking business opportunities and broadening the client base
Your skills and experience
5-7 years of prior work experience in FX or Rates trading. Experience in both and in derivatives is a plus
An entrepreneur who can take initiatives and risk. A self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments
Good understanding of the market and strong connection with market participants. Ability to identify and nurture new opportunities and relationships with institutional and corporate clients
Team player. Intellectually curious. Quick learner
