Our Compliance Technology teams are responsible for delivering solutions which will automate business workflows, improve data quality, and enhance reporting for the Compliance function. You’ll be an integral part of the bank’s technology infrastructure, guiding the Compliance Technology team and playing vital role in protecting organisation data. By actively engaging with the team, you will enable responsible for the overall implementation of security architecture in the compliance division. You’ll need to have a blend of security, engineering, and cloud skills, and a passion for overall security. Deutsche Bank is investing heavily in technology, which means we are investing in you.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyse the security features and needs of cloud services that have been requested by the Bank’s application developer community
  • Collaborate with other architects to ensure specifications are implemented in policy-enforcing tools, and on improvements to cloud engineering tooling and agile ways of working
  • Act as an internal expert in the native security features of the Cloud Service Providers to advise other teams on options for improving and maintaining security
  • Implementing the best security practices defined by the enterprise architects.
  • Contributing the best security standards and practices.
  • Reviewing the security implementation for the applications within the division.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in information security, engineering, development, and public cloud technologies
  • Teamwork abilities: The Security Architect is expected to work with various multi-disciplinary teams, so it is vital that they are team-oriented individuals with priority on the successful completion of team goals
  • Exposure to current development techniques such as agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, Terraform
  • Experience using Version Control Systems (VCS) (GitHub and or GitLab) and Cloud Security Management tools (Key Management Service, Secret Manager, External key manager, Encryption at Rest etc.)
  • Google Cloud Certified Professional – Professional Cloud Architect & Cloud Security Engineer Certification (Preferable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science (Preferable) or equivalent work experience
