Job Description:

Responsibilities

Full support of the current automation process of the risk task management. Help translating business requirements (compliance/audit initiatives) to a system based IT solution to converge to overall strategic objectives. This involves:

Working closely in the requirements gathering phase to determine key data input, outputs and functional processes from a front to back perspective

Determine the golden sources for the information, investigate the ways of automation

Identifies what processes can be automated

Identifies all access/accounts/actions to collect the data for the reporting with data sources to JIRA (Data from REST API)

Develop the automation of the current solutions by:

Works with technical leads and application architects to identify areas for automation

Develops automation scripts

Articulates key risks to program/project management

Work with Risk and Control and IT management to face off to audit processes

Education / Qualifications

  • Completion B.E/BTECH Degree is a must
  • 3 - 7 years of overall technology experience
  • Excellent team- contact- and communication skills, open mindedness
  • High flexibility and engagement, ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects/ deliverables at the same time
  • Intercultural openness.

Demonstrated ability to drive change, in both technology and culture.

Essential skills

Experience working in the financial industry and in particular risk technology Collaborate with different teams across organization, gather requirements to develop custom solutions Developing web-based application with both backend Broad understanding of data and its usage within financial industry including reference, trade, market and risk data Develop scripts that use Jira APIs to connect to other systems Develop metrics dashboards and reports for development teams and senior management. Ability to assimilate large quantities of information in short periods of time Understanding SDLC process Capability to understand UI and contribute with team for better user experience. Unit testing skills (good to have TDD) Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving, and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to relay complex information to a variety of end users from developers to senior managing directors within the business. Proactively, initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and the business

Competencies

  • 2+ years of experience with Python programming language
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL (good to have Oracle SQL)
  • 1+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • Experience with RESTful Web Services
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity or Jenkins)
  • Experience with GIT (good to have Bitbucket)
  • Good understanding of microservices concepts
  • Good understanding of OOP concepts
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle; preferably with understanding of Agile Kanban/Scrum
  • Use Agile Methodologies, JIRA and Confluence to ensure that deliverables are secure, scalable and reliable.
  • Good to have experience of scripting languages (PowerShell), Excel VBA
  • Good to have experience of object-oriented programming in Groovy and/or Java

Good to have experience with Angular or any other JavaScript web framework
