Details of the Division and Team:

The Distressed Products Group ("DPG") is a market leader in special situations and provides bespoke financing solutions across all credit products. It is sector agnostic and operates principally in the private markets. DPG Australia requires an experienced originator and risk manager, based in Sydney, to support growth within its Special Situations business.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with DPG's Asia Pacific sourcing team and sales coverage teams to drive origination

  • Identify new opportunities across the capital structure and develop new client and partner relationships

  • Responsible for all aspects of due diligence, underwriting and risk management of new and existing positions

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in underwriting and executing transactions in structured finance, principal investment or investment banking

  • A deep understanding of credit and investment analysis including the modelling complex cashflows

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead deal teams across Asia Pacific
