Overview
You will be joining the Global Supervisory System (GSS) Team within Regulatory & Cross Product IT that delivers Level One Controls across all business sections of Deutsche Bank. We are an engineering focused organization, striving for the highest quality architecture, design, and code across our teams. You will help to improve the quality of our data and reporting systems, working in a fast-paced, agile environment. Our workload is challenging with a focus on data and delivery within a regulatory and audit environment. You will be expected to continuously learn and will be exposed to diverse technologies and global teams of developers, and business stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
Work as part of a delivery team, collaborating with others to understand requirements, analyze and refine stories, design solutions, implement them, test them, and support them in production
Coordinate the design and develop excellent and understandable solutions
Ensure that the software built at your direction is reliable and easy to support in production
Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond
Be accountable for successful delivery of a regulatory critical workstream
Skills You’ll Need
Extensive experience of business/data analysis within financial services showing strong analytical skills and clear problem solving with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language and advanced data analysis, ideally in Oracle; Extensive experience with Excel, specifically as a data analysis tool
Proven experience in problem solving and working to tight deadlines, whilst achieving good quality outputs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to interact with senior stakeholders
Structured, organized and results-oriented approach, demonstrating a high level of diligence and attention to detail and the ability to ensure high quality and consistency in the deliverables produced
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Preferred technical experience with Python
Experience with Tableau or other BI visualization tools; Ability to read Java or Scala
Should have promising debugging skills and problem-solving techniques
Strong generalist regulatory experience from within the financial services industry
A working knowledge of agile methods and proficiency in utilizing development productivity tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
