Die Tribe Domain „Private Bank Data & Analytics“ stellt sowohl der Privatbank als auch verschiedenen Bereichen der Gruppe (Risiko, Finanzen, Treasury, Vertrieb, AFC und Compliance) qualitativ hochwertige Daten und Anwendungen zur Datenaufbereitung zur Verfügung. Sie ist ein entscheidender Faktor für wichtigste Leistungen der Privatbank und der Gruppe, um strategische Ergebnisse zu erzielen, Vertriebsaktivitäten zu steuern und regulatorische Verpflichtungen zu erfüllen. Die Datenbereitstellungsteams betreiben Big-Data-Lösungen auf verschiedenen Plattformen mit verschiedenen Technologien und sind verantwortlich für die Bereitstellung der Daten und die Umsetzung der Anwendungen.

Ihre Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

Als Lead Engineer für Data and MIS Reporting sind Sie technischer Experte für die Leitung eines Entwicklungsteams und verantwortlich für die Durchführung von Arbeiten an der MIS- und Vertriebsreporting-Plattform, einschließlich der Analyse-, Entwicklung- und Verwaltungstätigkeiten.

Die Arbeit umfasst außerdem:

• Planung und Entwicklung kompletter technischer Lösungen zur Erreichung von Geschäftszielen

• Zuverlässigkeit und Ausfallsicherheit bei Lösungen beachten durch entsprechende Tests und Überprüfungen während des gesamten Lebenszyklus der Lieferung

• Sicherstellung der Wartung und Wiederverwendbarkeit technischer Lösungen

• Sicherstellung, dass die Lösungen gut konzipiert sind und erfolgreich in den End-to-End-Geschäftsprozessablauf integriert werden können

• Überprüfung technischer Entwürfe und der Qualität, um die Wiederverwendung zu fördern und die technischen Fähigkeiten zu verbessern

• Teilnahme an Branchenforen, um die Übernahme innovativer Technologien, Tools und Lösungen in der Bank voranzutreiben

• Unterstützung bei der Weiterentwicklung und Verbesserung der bestehenden Anwendung auf Hadoop-Infrastruktur und einer effizienten Migration auf eine Cloud-Plattform.

Ihre Kompetenzen und Erfahrungen

Allgemeine Fähigkeiten:

• Masterabschluss einer anerkannten Hochschule oder Universität mit Schwerpunkt Informatik oder Software-Engineering (oder gleichwertig) – mit Nebenfach Finanzen, Mathematik oder Ingenieurwesen

• Ausgeprägte analytische Problemlösungsfähigkeiten

• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, fließend in Deutsch und Englisch (schriftlich/mündlich)

• Schritthalten mit technischen Innovationen

• Fähigkeit, Code gemäß den vorgegebenen Geschäftsanforderungen zu entwerfen und zu schreiben

Fachspezifische Fähigkeiten:

Der Schlüssel sind funktionale Kenntnisse in den folgenden Themenbereichen:

• Private Banking Vertriebs- und Provisionierungs-Prozesse sowie Private/Retail Banking-Produktdaten

• Geschäftsbereichsrechnung oder Ableitung von Vertriebs-KPIs wie Flow of Funds, Kosten- und Ertragskomponenten für Bankprodukte und -kunden

• Vertriebsleistungsmanagement/Balance Score Carding

Technisch sind folgende Kenntnisse erforderlich:

• Data Warehousing, insbesondere bei der Implementierung von Data Vault und multidimensionalen Reporting-Data Marts

• Tiefes Verständnis von Entwicklung, Architektur, Design und Implementierung hochverteilter globaler Cloud-basierter Systeme, idealerweise auf der Google Cloud Plattform

• Sehr gutes Verständnis von Python/PySpark und Hive auf Hadoop sowie BigQuery auf Google Cloud

• Erste Erfahrungen mit strukturierten Enterprise-Architektur-Praktiken, Hybrid-Cloud-Entwicklungen und der Entwicklung von Roadmaps sowie der Bereitstellung von Premise-to-Cloud-Migrationen

• Tiefes Wissen über Kernprozesse und Tools für den Softwareentwicklungslebenszyklus sowie für automatisierte Test- und Bereitstellungsprozesse.

Details of the role and how it fits into the team

The Private Bank Data & Analytics Tribe Domain provides high quality data to Privat Bank and Group consumers (Risk, Finance, Treasury, Sales, AFC, and Compliance). It is a critical enabler for the Private Bank and Group Key Deliverables to achieve strategic outcomes, steering sales activities and meet regulatory commitments. The data delivery teams operate big data solutions on various platforms and technologies and providing data solutions for various key data stakeholders across Private Bank and Group.

Your key responsibilities

Lead Engineer for Data and MIS Reporting is responsible for managing a team of engineers as technical expert and performing work across the MIS and Sales Reporting platform including analysis, development, and administration.

It also involves taking functional oversight of engineering delivery including:

• Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals

• Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions

• Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow

• Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability

• Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and solutions in the Bank.

• Support in the further development and improvement of the existing application on Hadoop infrastructure and efficient migration of a cloud platform

Your skills and experiences

General skills:

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on computer science or software engineering (or equivalent) – with a minor in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering

• Profound Analytical problem solving abilities

• Proficient communication skills, Fluent in German and English (written/verbal)

• Keeps pace with technical innovation

• Ability to design and write code in accordance with provided business requirements

Domain specific skills:

Key is to have functional knowledge in the following subject areas:

• Private Banking sales and third-party provisioning processes as well as the Private Banking product and customer data

• Business Unit Accounting and/or derivation of Sales KPIs such as flow of funds, cost and income ratio for retail products and customers

• Sales performance management/balance score carding

Technically the following knowledge is needed:

• Data Warehousing, especially in an implementation of data vault and multidimensional reporting data marts

• Deep understanding of development, architecture, design, and implementation of highly distributed global cloud-based systems, ideally Google Cloud Platform

• Very good understanding of Python/PySpark and Hive on Hadoop as well as BigQuery on Google Cloud

• First Experiences with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud developments and the development of roadmaps as well as the provision of premise-to-cloud migrations

• Deep knowledge of core processes and tools for the software development lifecycle as well as for automated testing and deployment processe

People skills:

• Ability to influence target groups and to get them involved into your solutions, you have good communication skills, and you are a proactive team player
