Job Description:

The Compliance Italy team is looking for a Central Compliance and Regulatory Management specialist to be included in the team. She/he will support the team in the management of the interactions with local and global Regulators and will report to the Head of Central Compliance Italy.

Main responsibilities

The Central Compliance Officer will:

  • support the Head of Central Compliance Italy in the management of the country regulatory relationships, ensuring appropriate support and escalations,

  • ensure the ordinary communications from/to the ECB JST, keeping informed the central ECB communication team at DB AG ;

  • prepare agenda and meeting arrangements, and track follow up requests;

  • manage incoming and outgoing communication from/to Supervisory Authority, with supervision of the Head of Central Compliance Italy and the Head of Compliance Italy;

  • ensure that other functions respect the deadlines imposed by Regulators for ad hoc requests and deep dives;

  • perform document search and filing.

In addition, he/she will:

  • support the Head of Central Compliance in the Compliance Function internal and external reporting.

Level of autonomy

  • Initially low level of autonomy, progressively increasing depending on the different tasks.

  • The role involves interactions with relevant internal / external stakeholders at a senior level.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education

  • Preferably Economics or Law

Contractual / Corporate level

  • Associate or no Corporate Title

Past experience

  • Preferably 1 or more years of experience in infrastructure or control functions, or process design functions.

  • Equivalent time in an advisory/ business role with additional compliance/risk/audit experience.

  • Preferably previous experience in international context.

Languages

  • Fluent in written and spoken Italian

  • Fluent English is a prerequisite

Technical skills

  • Preferably knowledge on: financial and banking products and services and banking prudential regulation
