Job Title- Database and Reporting Developer (Associate)

Location- Pune

Role Description

Deutsche Bank is actively renewing its digital channels and has started many strategic and challenging projects. Next to some major technological changes, Deutsche Bank has decided to step into the Agile software development methodology to improve its agility and reduce time to market without scarifying quality

Developer is building block of team and key contributor towards delivering business needs.

Database developer bring Oracle, Reporting and GCP knowledge to design and development of achieve target goals with strong collaboration with other team members

They takes responsibility and ownership of E2E report design, writing SQLs, Python scripts, development, testing and deployment and deliverables, but not limited to.

Your key responsibilities

  • Perform Analysis, Design, Development, Unit Testing, SIT/UAT Support, Deployment, L3 support tasks.
  • Understand function/technical/non-functional requirements.
  • Design E2E solution with all possible options and its pros and cons
  • Strong design and development skills and should be able to deliver quality code.
  • Integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software
  • Perform peer code review
  • Actively participate into the agile activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up/scrum meeting
  • Actively participate and Dev chapter lead activities
  • Apply continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)
  • Collaborate with other squad members to achieve the Squad/Sprint objectives
  • Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)
  • Manage individual task priorities and deliverables
  • Responsible for quality of solutions
  • Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities,
  • Support the PM, ITAO, PO, Analyst and Scrum Master
  • Participate in DR activities

Your skills and experience

Relevant Experience – 5 to 8 Years

  • Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience of writing complex SQLs / PLSQLs in Oracle / Postgres database along with at least expertise in one of the reporting tool like SAP BO / Tableau and knowledge of Python Scripting
  • Experience in query Optimization and Performance tuning. Well knowledge of MVs
  • Good to have worked thoroughly on Python – Installation, solving compatibility issues, integration with other application
  • Strong Learning Capabilities and adopt new technologies
  • Proficiency in working with global and local teams, working in a collaborative agile environment.
  • Flexible to work / switch on multiple technologies as project demands
  • Candidate having working knowledge of SAP BO report development is an added advantage
  • Knowledge GCP Big Query, Logging, Terraform is an added advantage
  • Good to have GCP certifications
