Location- Pune, India

Role Description

The individual will be involved in projects working with multiple regulations to gather business requirements and propose solutions in order to help the business support its Listed Derivatives trade processing, allocations, and clearing platforms, and will be responsible for identifying, designing, developing, and implementing strategic solutions within Deutsche Bank’s Global Technology organization.

As Lead Business Functional Analyst, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders including operations, business, legal, compliance and development teams to a) help design and implement solutions that ensure regulatory compliance with new global regulations b) Support testing co-ordination c) attend external regulatory working groups. You may be required to matrix manage a team who drive implementation of solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for creating good quality requirement specifications.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand and document requirements, through leading workshops, working groups and participating in external industry working groups.
  • Lead WG with key stakeholders, subject matter experts & project team members, ensure that these are accurately documented and distributed appropriately.
  • Work closely with development teams, quality assurance teams and other stakeholders.
  • Attend external industry sessions, dealing with internal and external audit requests.
  • Ensure effective and accurate status and progress reporting and identification of issues & risks to the project working group and the stakeholder.
  • Ensure that all project lifecycle requirements such as testing, training and transition plans are defined and complete using standardised methodologies & templates.
  • Manage delivery of SMEs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that roles & responsibilities and resulting actions are understood and carried out effectively.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Hands on experience in functional domains such as Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Trade Life Cycle and Trade Flows and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Hands on experience as a BA/FA for functional domains such as Equities and Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income Securities and its Derivatives, Commodities and Commodity Derivatives or FX and FX Derivatives both on Exchange Traded Products as well as OTC products.
  • Good understanding of the complete lifecycle of the above-mentioned domains as well of trading, pre trade, post trade, clearing & settlement and reconciliation processes.
  • Hands on experience of the BA role involving requirement gathering, requirement documentation, data analysis, data sourcing and onboarding, data mapping, user acceptance testing and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and sufficient hands-on experience in data analysis using SQL, knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodology, hands on experience in creating Epics, Features, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in JIRA and exposure Scrum working for delivering requirements.
  • Expertise in project plan design, resourcing, milestone and budget management, risk and issue tracking, project status reporting, production of structured project documentation.
  • Ability to lead workshops (e.g. requirements gathering, option evaluation), project analysis and design effort, support analysts/experts from line roles with appropriate structure, guidance, targets, templates and quality control
  • Ability to assess and manage key stakeholder project needs and expectations
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to be able to liaise with IT project manager and staff, understand IT project lifecycle, discuss technical architecture issues and options, and communicate formal functional & non-functional requirements
  • Fluent written and spoken English
