Job Title: Branch Operations Operator

Corporate Title: AVP

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

Client Service is responsible for retaining, growing and developing strategic client relationships for a portfolio of (country, regional or global) clients for which they have primary service coverage responsibility, in line with applicable internal policies and external legal/regulatory frameworks.

Work includes

  • Facilitating interactions with new and existing clients
  • Liaising with clients and supporting their account related queries
  • Building relationships and operations where needed
  • Ensuring adherence to internal policies and external legal/regulatory frameworks

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage International Trade Finance related activities and delivery within pre-defined TAT.
  • Responsible for Trade manuals, process notes, Trade checklists in accordance with the internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of regulatory mandates viz EDPMS/IDPMS closure, tracking Merchanting Trade Transactions and processing of supply chain Financing
  • Coordination with branches, Legal, Compliance, Product, IT, Business teams for smooth Trade Finance processing
  • Conduct Trainings on Trade Finance
  • Regular checks on adherence to process notes and KOPs
  • Ensure updating team & branches on the changes in process to be abreast with the latest guidelines and incorporate checklists for adherence.
  • Responsible to monitor movement of key business indicators and facilitate information flow & decision making.

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge on Trade Finance and Foreign exchange
  • Conversant with MS Excel/Power point
  • Knowledge about Supply Chain Finance
  • Team management/Leadership skills


  • Experience in overall Trade operations for at least 10 years
