You will be joining the dbSleuth Team within Regulatory & Cross Product IT delivering Trader and Counterparty surveillance across all business sections of Deutsche Bank. We are an engineering focused organization, striving for the highest quality architecture, design and code across our teams. You will help to build our surveillance systems, working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Participate or lead the collection of business requirements and contribute materially to the development of functional design. Participate in the project delivery from requirements to production deployment
  • Development of source code for front to back software components (e.g., Java, Oracle, ETL).
  • Designs and implements automated testing scripts.
  • Integrates software components following the integration strategy. Verifies integrated software components by unit and integrated software testing.
  • Supports release deployments into controlled environments.
  • Capture Build and Deployment notes, develop automated deployment scripts, as needed

Your skills and experience

Experience | Exposure (Essential)

  • 10+ years technical experience.
  • Extensive database experience in either Oracle or SQL server but both would be preferred.
  • Expertise in Oracle PLSQL programming and performance tuning at basic level
  • Expertise in Python scripting and development experience
  • Experience in ETL Tools will be beneficial.
  • Experience in BI & Analytic Tools will be beneficial.
  • Data Structures, Design Patterns & Frameworks.

Experience / Exposure (Recommended)

  • Perl or Shell scripting experience.
  • Agile process experience
  • Test Driven Development experience.
  • Experience in testing database solutions.
  • Experience in B2B tools.
