Integrated Trade and Risk Capture (iTrac) is a front office tool for Flow Derivatives. It is used by Trading and Sales to capture trades and monitor trades flow. It's built on a diverse technology platform with Java, Scala, Akka and Coherence. UI is powered by C# stack.
As a Senior SRE Engineer (f/m/x), you will be a key player in stabilizing the existing platform and making sure it can still support our business in ever changing environment. You will start with gaining in-depth knowledge on the platform and then work closely with Front Office, Middle Office and Production Support on changing the platform to keep up with Business demand. This is an Individual Contributor role, and you will be responsible and accountable for problem analysis, designing and coding long-term solutions to complex legacy issues, and releasing the fixes into production.

Your key responsibilities
- Partner with traders, operations and stakeholders situated in multiple regions and time-zones to understand their production problems
- Structured problem analysis leading to finding immediate fixes as well as long-term solutions that will prevent the same problem from re-occurring
- Design and code long-term solutions and deliver them into production within an agile delivery model
- Collaborate with engineers to participate and contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions and specifications.
Your skills and experiences
- Multi-year experience in development or SRE
- Expertise in Java, Scala, C#, Oracle
- Experience with modern SDLC toolstack (Bitbucket, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, etc.) and observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
- Basic UNIX
- Written and spoken English
- Experience with financial protocols, standards (e.g., FpML) and Investment Banking domain in general is a plus.
