Relationship Manager - Cash Management Sales Specialist:

The role specializes in sales and relationship management, providing end to end support for our Multinational Client (MNC) clients in Thailand, and engaging with new clients and deepen the relationship across other products, focusing on Cash Management heavy portfolio.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Establish new relationships with targeted MNC clients in Thailand by tying in their banking requirements with DB’s various product offerings, The client segment focusing on corporates , especially New Economy clients with relationship with DB at global level.

  • Taking responsibility for selling the entire range of Corporate Cash Management (CCM) to MNC clients. The product range consists of cash management products (ie. money transfer, liquidity, FX products) and electronic banking.

  • Pitching ideas/Cash Management solutions to the bank’s clients and/or in structured transactions.

  • Preparing relevant materials to pitch to new or existing clients with the aim of winning the Cash Management mandate for the bank

  • Ensuring smooth execution of transactions

  • Work with the respective Regional Lead to execute the strategy to acquire new clients/ business.

  • Being in charge of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) reviews and on-boarding of new customers as well as taking accountability for client relationships (as "Accountable Client Owner").

  • Analyzing payments, trade flows and internal MIS data to identify business opportunities.

  • Assume responsibility for the content and presentation quality of relevant client proposals, responses to RFPs and RFIs, and client communications.

  • Liaising with Product Management for new and innovative solutions

  • Obtain pricing or product offering approval from the Regional / Country Head and Market Management for any conditions below "standard" based on proper justification.

  • Interacting / Cross-selling with other areas of the bank

  • Ensure that both existing and prospective clients are fully updated on product trends and regulatory changes affecting Cash Management, Trade Finance as well as Fixed Income and Currencies

  • Strengthen the relationship with the Regional/Global Relationship managers and engage with their clients regional/ global headquarters with product and regulatory updates

  • Work with Global and Local Credit Risk Management Teams for the maintenance and setup of existing / new credit facilities

  • Execute regional initiatives, directions and targets for Cash Management in the local market

  • Ensures alignment of our client portfolio with current regulatory and compliance requirements, and timely escalation of significant financial or non-financial risk matters.

Your skills and experience:

  • Academic Degree and/or MBA holder

  • Currently VP or AVP

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Bank, and at least 2 years of experience in Cash Management Sales

  • Must have relationship management or sales background

  • Detailed knowledge of corporate banking products and markets

  • Proven excellent customer relationship and selling skills

  • Solid presentation and communication skills, written and verbal

  • Ability to negotiate and influence others to gain support and achieve a common goal

  • Motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
